Job Description: Seeks experienced design engineer to manage complete design scope from conceptual generation to prototype validation, compliance verification, and industrialization. The person should be capable of independently performing research, CAD, technical writing, and communication with internal and external industrial partners. The person is expected to be well versed in design certification in CAAM, EASA and FAA environments and ready for CVE qualification (structure and/or cabin) , if not already certified.Full lifecycle of an assigned design work: conceptual, preliminary, detailed, compliance/certification and industrialization.Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth and compliance retrofit embodiment.Effective communication with internal and external industrial partners.Project management and keeping milestones to meet KPI.Manage in production difficulty and design change.Perform and prepare conformity check reports for fabricated parts.Complete compliance checklist and compile certification documents for design approval.Be proficient of Design Assurance System and AHG airworthiness policy.Reporting safety concerns to the Chief of Airworthiness and synthesizing corrective action.Act as Technical Support for DO designed products.Consolidation of technical return of experience (RETEX) by reporting key technical occurrences, recurrences or failure of the product.Synthesize Customer’s issues and prepare a detailed impact analysis for the yearly ProductImprovement Plan.Report local incidents involving AHG products and report to the network via ISII process.Transcribe design documents into relevant production instructions.Evaluate design, repair and other technical documents. Perform damage/defect assessment, prepare report, proposes repair/rectification solution and liaisons with network counterparts for beyond O & I maintenance or network Level 1 scope.Contribute to process improvements.Upkeep and live Airbus Values, Leadership Model and Code of Conduct to be exemplary to others and to promote and increase the awareness of Airbus Values, Leadership Models and Code of Conduct.
